Experiment using the Tevatron proton/antiproton accelerator on a feature of quantum field and string theories pertaining to bosons and fermions, unifying spacetime and internal symmetries. Elementary particles of one spin related to other particles differing by half a spin unit known as superpartners. First proposed by Hironari Miyazawa in 1966, then rediscovered by Gervais et al. in 1974.
